Sravanabelagola - Asia's largest monolithic statue - Lord Gomateswara here towers 58 ft. It is prominent Jain pilgrim center.

Day 03:
AM Visit Belur & Halebid
Belur - once the capital of Hoysala Kings offers one of the finest specimens of Hoysala architecture. Its Temple of Lord Channakeshava is embellished with carving which in intricacy, fineness of finish and sheer beauty have few equals in the world. It was built in 1116 A.D by King Vishnuvardhana.
Halebid - once the seat of the Hoysala Kingdom, has a great Hoyaleswara Temple, built in the typical style. A stellar base with the emblem of the lion and elephants seemingly supporting the temple, signifying stability.
PM Drive to Mysore (140 Kms. / 3 ½ hrs.) enroute visiting Tipu’s Summer Palace and Fort at Srirangapatna. On arrival check into hotel.

AM Sightseeing of Mysore covering Maharaja’s Palace- Built in 1911-12, this palace is a harmonious synthesis of the Hindu and Sacrascenic styles of architecture with archways, domes, turrets, colonnades and magnificent sculptures. Visit the Art Gallery, which has an excellent collection of paintings from renowned artists, drive upto Chamundi Hill to see Chamundeshwari Temple and a panoramic view of Mysore. On your way back, see the monolithic statue of Nandi, the Bull which is 7.6 m wide and 4.8m high.
